TPSODL Launches ‘Project SAATHI’ to Empower BA Families

Berhampur: TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited has launched Project SAATHI – Touching BA Lives, designed to promote inclusive growth and strengthen engagement with Business Associates (BAs) employees and their families. This pilot project, kicked off from Lathi village, Berhampur, will build a supportive ecosystem for BA employees through education, livelihood opportunities, and healthcare.

The Project includes Pragati Path, a scholarship support for students and helps them enrol in government ITI or diploma colleges, providing them a path to their goal. Along with this, the Margdarshan initiative will provide them with career and financial guidance, helping them achieve holistic and long-term benefits.

Adding to this, the “Aarogya Parivar” will provide accessible healthcare to the BA employees and their families through the Sanjivini Mobile Health Dispensary. The camps focus on preventive care and general health check up followed by an awareness session.

Providing a glimpse of services under the initiatives at the launch event in Lathi, Konisi, Berhampur—attended by more than 65 BA employees and their families—a health checkup camp was also conducted to promote well-being. The Dhaaga and Dhoopbatti Centres were also displayed at the event, encouraging families to participate in income‑generation and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Amit Kumar Garg, CEO, TPSODL stated, “Project SAATHI reflects our belief that growth is truly meaningful when it includes every member of our extended workforce. By investing in education, health, and livelihood development, we aim to build stronger, self-reliant communities that progress alongside TPSODL.”

Through such initiatives, TPSODL continues its journey of empowerment, partnership, and shared community progress across Southern Odisha.
